application and advice
preparation
Remove all traces of old finishes, dirt, oil, wax and grease. These may have impregnated the surface and can cause failure. Sand in direction of the grain to provide a key. Thoroughly clean after sanding.
application
Ensure the product is well mixed but do not shake. Apply 3 coats with a synthetic varnish brush. On new softwood and porous surfaces dilute the first coat 10% with water. Lightly sand wood in between applications to remove any raising of the grain.
For a dead flat finish with high durability and stain resistance, apply 2 coats of satin followed by 1 of dead flat. To achieve full UV protection apply 3 coats of satin before a final coat of dead flat. Instructions in the technical data sheet must be followed.

Appearance may vary according to the colour and type of wood and the number of coats. Do not continuously submerge in water. Test for compatibility before application.

Protect from extremes of temperature during storage and application.

Remove excess from tools and mixing vessels before washing in warm soapy water.
